ILFWDA, Sustainable fashion show during the famous London Fashion Week by Stacey Hieriem

ILFWDA Fashion Show, returns with a Sustainable Catwalk Event of London Fashion Week. The non -profit fashion show will be held at Beach Blanket Babylon, Notting-hill on the 15th of February with press conference at 12 Noon with eight scheduled designers beginning catwalks at 1:00 p.m.

Jeff Garner of Prophetik is sponsoring the event and showcasing his newest collection “Women of the Crown” in partnership with Historical Environment Scotland inspired by Mary Queen of Scots. Mr Garner is known as a celebrity sustainable designer with his eco fashion gowns adorning the likes of Suzy Amis Cameron, Cate Blanchett, Gisele Bundchen, Cara Delavigne, Taylor Swift as well as Royals.

Stacey and Michael Strahand are well known for their London Fashion Week collections which draw on glam rock icons as well as couture styles, showcasing enhanced shoulder lines, tailoring and embellishment using crystals, pearls and metal. They recognised the skills of the local artisans in Yorkshire and Scotland and endeavoured to contribute to their local economy and provide the luxury sector with couture designs, using traditional fabrics, with a rock edge, inspired by their youth. The strong emphasis and value placed on using traditional techniques and sustainable materials to ensure ethical practice really sets this label apart from the rest.

Their futuristic fashion lines are designed with rock fans in mind, who live and die rock but want more of a luxurious style, rather than band shirts. Materials such as mohair, cashmere, tweed and wool run through their collections and allow the designer label to add a luxurious edge to the glam punk rock style. Following the catwalk presentation VIP Guests will be able to meet Mr. Garner, Stacey and the ILFWDA designers with a private drink reception.
